There are four awards that can be given to participants in or out of Festival for the categories of Sound, Lighting, Costume and Set design.

Proof received two nominations:
• Peter Pownall & Don Hastie – for Outstanding Lighting Design and Execution in Proof
• Jim Hartley for Outstanding Set Design for the semi-stylized set for Proof

And won two awards:
• Ed Williams for Best Sound Design for Proof
• Proof won the award for Best Visual Production for “stunning stage pictures”.

TW did well in several Acting categories receiving two nominations
• The entire cast was nominated for Best Ensemble Production
• Dominique Kamras was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Major Role

And one win:
• Tony Harding won for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role as Robert in Proof

The Adjudicator is allowed to create six Special Awards of Merit to recognize other specific accomplishments. He gave two to Proof

• An Award for the entire troupe, director, designers, technicians, and performers of Proof
• A special acting award to Dominique Kamras “whose performance went beyond outstanding, whose characterization coupled with strong technical skills gave us a performance which took us completely into the life of her character, Catherine”.
