Travel Directions to the Market Centre
Whether you travel into Woodstock via Highways # 2, # 59, # 401 or # 403, directional signs point the way. The City has posted a series of yellow signs with green icons to direct you to their various sites.
The Market Centre, the Woodstock Museum, and City Hall are all located in the same block. Full day parking for all three buildings is at the corner of Reeve and Peel Streets. The "Market Centre Parking Lot" is a "Pay & Display" Lot. Parking tickets are $ 1.00 (loonie) from the machine, and are to be displayed in the front window of your car.
If travelling east along the 401 (from Windsor, London), take exit # 230, Sweaburg / Oxford Rd. # 12. Travel north approximately 3 km. to Simcoe Street (two streets past the first stop-light). Turn right (east) and continue until you see the Market Centre and the parking lot.
If travelling west along the 401 (from Toronto, Guelph, Cambridge), take the first Woodstock exit # 238, Highway # 2 West. Travel to the stop-lights at Wilson and Huron Street (7-11 gas bar at the north-west corner). Turn left (south) for one short block to the first stop-light at Peel Street. Turn right (west), and continue until you see the Market Centre and the parking lot.
If travelling from Hamilton along Highway # 403, or for an alternative Highway # 401 exit, take exit # 232 and travel north to Peel Street (second stop-light past the railway crossing). Turn left (west), and continue until you see the Market Centre and the parking lot.
