Audition Notice
Wanted: 3 female, 3 male actors. Age range from 18 and up. Each actor will play several different characters in the play. Possibilities range from an eight year old at a birthday party, to a teenager looking to raid her parents’ liquor cabinet, to an architect pitching a home design to a client, and many more.
`The Dining Room is a complex play exploring domestic society over the course of a century through a series of vignettes. The director’s casting policies are colour blind and gender fluid. A willingness to work hard and have fun doing it are essential to the success of the production. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, but advance scripts are available online.
